This site is PDQ, a computer service of the National Cancer Institute for people with cancer and their families and for doctors, nurses, and other health care professionals. Gives up-to-date information on cancer and its prevention, detection, treatment and supportive care.
Provides information about research on new treatments, doctors who treat cancer and hospitals with cancer programs.
PDQ is useful either for learning about current treatments (their risks, and how well they do or do not work) of different kinds of cancer or as provider of additional health care professionals who specialize in treating patients with cancer.
Offers current listing of clinical trials and many cancer doctors who take part in clinical trials are listed.

Acupuncture in Medicine is a journal of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). The journal is published twice a year. The last issue (Dec 1999) was the first with a parallel electronic version and future issues will be published simultaneously on the BMAS website. The summaries of articles in recent editions of the Journal are freely available. Articles can be downloaded (as PDF files) from the BMAS site using a password. The password is available free to members and journal subscribers, or on payment of a fee for others. All articles have an author Email address if one is available.
